About
Our Studio
According to our vision of the current immersive genre, we stand on strong shoulders. From the ancient Greeks, who performed their tragedies in semi-circular theaters, to the more immersive character of 16th-century anatomical theaters, to Mesdag's panorama and ultimately - with Christian Sliekers' “living photographs" - to film. In our 21st century, we are taking a new step in the development of immersion. We use techniques developed by our predecessors and add a new layer: a fusion of live theater and digital media.
It is no coincidence that the principle of a magic box is incorporated into the logo of Studio Immersief.
The simplicity, discovery, the childlike enthusiasm, and the passion of a good story coming together as a whole. An equally entertaining and precise genre. We compare the magic box to our immersive productions: 1 space, 1 story, and the eye of the viewer determines what they look at.
