Workshop / Digital Heritage x New Audience
Reach new audiences: transform your heritage into an interactive experience within 4 hours.
Digital Heritage x
New Audience
In this workshop, we will work on how digital and immersive experiences contribute to reaching new audiences. What strategic choices are involved, and what does this mean for your communication, audience strategy, and internal approach? By the end, you will have a clear target audience analysis, a first concept for a digital experience, and a concrete action and format plan that will help you attract 20% new visitors within ninety days thanks to a digital experience.
Why this workshop?
More and more museums, archives, and heritage institutions are looking for ways to:
reach younger audiences
make digital experiences a structural part of their offerings
link new forms of storytelling to their collection
better align marketing with a digital audience
In this workshop, we will explore how digital and immersive experiences can help, what strategic choices are needed, and what this means for your communication, audience strategy, and internal approach.
No experience with digital experiences? No problem – we start at your level.
What does the workshop yield?
In four hours, we will delve deeper into:
1. New forms of digital experience
What works at the moment within museums and heritage? We will explore VR, AR, interactive installations, digital storytelling, and hybrid formats, and discuss where the biggest opportunities lie.
2. Connecting with a young, digital audience
How does this audience move? What do they expect from a digital experience? And what marketing works (and what doesn't)? You will receive a ready-to-implement plan for your organization.
3. The translation to your organization
What possibilities align with your collection, ambition, and audience task? We will look at where you can start, which choices give direction, and how you can organize digital experiences within your team and workflow. Your team will be able to design immersive formats themselves after the session.
4. Inspiring examples
We will discuss cases from home and abroad that show how digital experiences work in practice. From immersive experiences to digital activations and pop-up formats.
